Aisha jamila Hinds is an American actor for over an entire decade. Her appearances have included The Shield as well as True Blood. Since her 2003 debut she has proven her acting versatility by giving outstanding performances in television series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7, and Under the Dome. Her first recognition came from her character Anna in the 2005 movie Assault on Precinct 13. She was first recognized for her part in the biographical film All the Way. Hind also received high praises for her performance as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. The show is renewed for its third installment with 20th Century Fox Television. Hind just wrapped filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters and is scheduled to be released at the beginning of 2019. Her father Krishnaraj, an Army scientist who died on March 18 2017. She and her mother Vrinda are both housewives. Aditya Rai, the older brother, is an engineer in the merchant marine industry. Bachchan's brother co-produced and co-wrote the movie Dil Ka Rishta with their mother. Her family relocated to Mumbai and she attended Arya Vidya Mandir. Jai Hind College was her the last institution of intermediate before joining D.G. Ruparel College Matunga was where she was awarded a mark of 90% in her H.S.C. exams. The time she spent in adolescence was filled with studying ballet and music over the course of five years. Her favourite subject was Zoology. Bachchan was a student of Architecture when she was crowned Miss World. It was a title that brought her into the fast lane of modeling. Her lucrative roles in PepsiCo Inc. & Vogue magazine as well as the spokesmodel contract with L'Oreal Paris were all rewarded in 2003. The year 1997 was the time she played two celebrated parts: Iruvar and Aur pyaar hogaia. Bachchan was thrust to the forefront in New Bollywood after both films broke the traditional structure for Bollywood films of the time. Bachchan became the Queen Of Bollywood because of her heartbreaking portrayal as Paro, who is an unfaithful love interest character in Devdas (2002) the film that became one of the most well-known Bollywood films. Devdas also happened to become the first Bollywood film that was screened at Cannes Film Festival. Chokher Bali (2003) was her next film she starred in that earned her acclaim. The film is a suspense that is based on Rabindranath Tagore's novel. In the same year she became an the only Indian actress to serve on the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan appeared on screen in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice a musical and dance adaptation from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. That was when Bachchan made her famous by bringing star power as well as beauty into her debut major film in English. Prior to releasing Provoked: A True Story 2006 in English the actress returned to Bollywood to play the lead role on Dhoom: 2 (2006 smash film). In April 2007, she was married to Abhishek Bachchan a frequent co-star and the child of Bollywood great Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage that reunited two of India's most powerful people.
